If you're reading this page, you probably already know me from Myspace, Yuwie, or another site.
I am a male to female transsexual. That means that although I was born with a male body, I have a female brain and I've always felt that I should have been a woman. This is not a lifestyle or a choice, it's a birth defect. Medical science has confirmed this by performing autopsies on transsexuals. They discovered that the brains of male to female transsexuals are virtually identical to those of genetic females, even in transsexuals who had never taken female hormones.
I've known I was different from around the time I was five. When I tried to express my feelings of femininity and act like any young girl would act, I quickly discovered that this kind of behavior was unacceptable for a young boy. I faced strong disapproval and punishment from my parents and teachers, as well as ridicule and persecution from my siblings and peers. It didn't take me long to learn to hide my true feelings, and I had to create a false male persona so I could blend in and function in the world. I grew up pretending to be something I wasn't, but all the while I still felt that I should have been born female.
That was how I lived my life for the next 30 years. I never really fit in anywhere, I was suicidally depressed, and no matter what I did I was never really happy. Finally, I reached a point where I knew I couldn't go on living my life as a lie, pretending to be something I wasn't. I came to the realization that I would never be happy unless I faced my true feelings and became a woman.
Thanks to advances in medical science, transsexuality can now be treated with a combination of hormone therapy, surgery, and other procedures. Unfortunately these procedures are all very costly, and they're not covered by medical insurance. That means that transsexuals like myself are forced to raise tens of thousands of dollars on their own to pay for these procedures. Many transsexual women turn to prostitution and other illegal activities to come up with the money, and others never make it. Given the challenges that transsexuals face, is it any surprise that the suicide rate for transsexuals is 1 in 3?
So that's why I decided to hold this contest. This is my way of asking YOU for help. I've already been taking female hormones and getting electrolysis for the last few years, but I'm still not ready to live full-time as a woman. With your assistance, I'll be able to raise enough money to pay for my surgery and the other remaining procedures I need to become completely female. Why you should enter this contest:
I've had several people tell me, "I'd love to enter, but I probably wouldn't win." If that's what you're thinking, you're completely missing the point. This contest is intended as a fundraiser to help me pay for my gender transition, including surgery, hormones, electrolysis, and other expenses. When you enter this contest, you're helping me fulfill my lifelong dream of being able to live full-time as a woman. Every time you enter, you're bringing me one step closer to becoming the woman I was meant to be. Even if you don't win, you'll still have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped me achieve this goal.
The procedures I need to complete my transition will cost anywhere from $50,000 to $75,000. For the last four years, I've been living like a hermit and saving every penny, never going out anywhere, and never spending any money on anything that isn't essential to my basic survival. I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores, and 50% of my diet consists of peanut butter sandwiches. Even despite all of this, I've only been able to save $3000 in these last four years.
If you do the math, you'll see that I could save money for the rest of my life without ever reaching my goal. This is why I need your help. You may not think a $10 entry fee will make much difference, but there is power in numbers. Contest Rules, Terms, and Conditions:

1) All contestants must be 18 years or older to qualify. Contestants may be male, female, transgendered, or anything else. Entries will be accepted from anywhere in the world, except where prohibited by law. All personal information will remain private and will not be released to any third party.
2) Each entry costs $10 US and is non-refundable. Contestants may enter as often as they like. All entries are considered to be non-charitable donations or gifts. Proceeds will be used to finance Tina's gender transition, including surgery, hormones, electrolysis, and other expenses.
3) One winner will be selected in a random drawing after 5000 entries are received. At Tina's sole discretion, the contest may be ended early. The winner will be contacted via email, and arrangements will be made for the date to take place. If the winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 10 days, another winner will be selected. For privacy reasons, the winner's name and personal information will not be publicly released.
4) If 5000 contest entries are received, Tina agrees that she will arrange and pay for the following expenses: The winner's airfare from anywhere within the continental USA to Tina's city of residence on the airline of Tina's choice, and 2 nights hotel accommodations at a hotel of Tina's choice. The winner is responsible for paying for their own meals and any other expenses. If the winner resides outside of the continental USA, they will be reimbursed up to $500 US for their airfare and must pay the remainder on their own. If the contest ends prematurely and the drawing is held before 5000 entries are sold, the winner must pay for and arrange their own airfare, hotel accommodations, and all other expenses.
5) On the evening of the date, Tina will meet with the contest winner in a public place. The two of you will then decide where to go and what to do. After the date begins, Tina reserves the right to end the date at any time without obligation, for any reason, at her own discretion. Tina will not do anything illegal on the date and should not be expected to do so. Tina never has sex on the first date. Ever. However, if Tina really really really really really likes you (that's five reallys), she may invite you on a second date, but there are no guarantees of this.
6) Tina Serena and her associates assume no responsibility or liability for any damages or losses that may occur. You are responsible for your own actions, the consequences of those actions, and everything else that happens in your life. The act of entering this contest or viewing this page constitutes automatic agreement to release Tina and her associates from any and all possible liabilities or damages, past, present, and future.
